Annual research results for the Brittain Center’s voluntary sample of hotel, condo-hotel, and campsites (HC-HCs) in the Myrtle Beach area are reported in the table below, along with the results of the Center’s scientifically random sample of weekly-rented vacation rental properties (VRPs), during the most recent six years.
In mid December, we launched the latest Beach House Vacation Promotion. This annual promotion will run through the end of February. Participants have a chance to win a one week (7 days/6 consecutive nights) rental of a beach home. The contest is promoted via digital channels and to our email subscribers. Last year, there were more than 144,000 entries.

Myrtle Beach’s most traveled airline is growing again as Spirit Airlines adds three new nonstop routes! Beginning May 2, 2019, Spirit (NYSE: SAVE) will add nonstop flights connecting Myrtle Beach to Indianapolis, Houston, and Kansas City just in time for a summer getaway. Nonstop routes between Myrtle Beach and Indianapolis will operate three times weekly, while the routes to Houston and Kansas City will operate twice weekly.
