This month, Karen Riordan, president and CEO for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB, presented the 2021 Annual Plan to the Myrtle Beach City Council. This annual plan outlines the key strategic priorities for the Chamber and CVB, including several initiatives supporting tourism recovery, community building, diversity, and advocacy, among others.

Former Myrtle Beach Mayor John Rhodes died Jan. 16, 2021, after losing his battle to COVID-19. Myrtle Beach Area CVB Expands Late 2020-Early 2021 Promotions with SCPRT Grant
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber and Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to continue to drive recovery for the destination utilizing the SCPRT Tourism Recovery Grant recently received.
