Beach renourishment in Myrtle Beach is scheduled to begin next week, with work expanding to include the Arcadian Shores area just north of the city. The project remains on track for completion by Memorial Day, and the beach will stay open throughout construction with only small sections temporarily closed.

ESPN Events announced Engine, a leading modern business and group travel platform, will be the presenting sponsor of the 2025 Myrtle Beach Bowl. The college football bowl game – now titled the Myrtle Beach Bowl presented by Engine – will be played on Friday, Dec. 19 at Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C., beginning at noon ET on ESPN and the ESPN App. The matchup will be announced at a later date.
Ryan Fox accepted the winner’s trophy at the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, but he wasn’t the only winner at the area’s second-year PGA TOUR event, which again showcased the Dunes Golf and Beach Club as a worthy host site. In addition, nine local charities shared $225,000, with seven of those receiving at least $26,750.
