Breeze Airways Announces New Route to Hartford from Myrtle Beach  Before Airline Launches Service from MYR

Breeze Airways, the U.S.’ only NLCC, or ‘Nice Low Cost Carrier,’ today announced seasonal service to Hartford from Myrtle Beach with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays starting May 2.

The announcement comes before Breeze has even debuted at MYR, with previously announced nonstop service to Providence, starting February 15, and to both Charleston, WV, and Tampa from May 10.

The Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) continues to see record-breaking passenger counts this summer. In June 2021, the number of people arriving on flights, or deplanements, totaled 230,333 compared to 170,059 in 2019. Total passenger traffic, which includes both arriving and departing passengers, totaled 451,750, a 35.2% increase from 334,340 passengers in June 2019, MYR’s previous best June on record.
