Myrtle Beach, SC (May 5, 2025) – Nathan Franks, a senior on the South Carolina men’s golf team, captured the final spot in the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic with his one-shot victory in The Q at Myrtle Beach, an innovative competition featuring eight aspiring professional golfers and eight influential golf content creators. The Q, which was presented by Play Golf Myrtle Beach and PGA TOUR Studios, was played on March 3, 2025, at TPC Myrtle Beach and can be seen on YouTube.

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (May 5, 2025) – The 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is the first PGA TOUR event to be conducted in Myrtle Beach. However, the Dunes Golf and Beach Club has hosted six season-ending championships on the PGA TOUR Champions from 1994-1999. And 21 years earlier, the Dunes Club was the site of the PGA TOUR Qualifying School Finals (1973), with Ben Crenshaw taking medalist honors.

Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell, ambassadors of ONEflight International, a private aviation company based in Denver, are among the leading celebrities scheduled to play in the Wednesday Pro-Am (May 7) at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic to be conducted at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club from May 8-11. In addition, North Myrtle Beach’s own Vanna White, who has been a fixture on Wheel of Fortune for more than 40 years, will again take part in the Wednesday Pro-Am.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) proudly announce the NCAA has selected Myrtle Beach for the 2027 Division I Men’s Golf Regionals and the 2028 Division III Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Coastal Carolina University (CCU) will serve as the host institution for both events.

Benefiting Local Charities in 2024 Recognized By Myrtle Beach Classic

Chris Gotterup accepted the winner’s trophy at the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic, but he wasn’t the only winner at the area’s first-ever PGA TOUR event. The tournament was a big hit, drawing more than 40,000 spectators during a week of ideal weather that helped showcase the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. In addition, nine local charities shared $225,000, with seven of those receiving at least $26,750.

ESPN Events Reveals Field for 2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational

The field for the 2024 Myrtle Beach Invitational is set and will feature three schools that participated in the 2024 National Invitational Tournament - Bradley (Missouri Valley), Princeton (Ivy), and South Florida (American Athletic).

Middle Tennessee (Conference USA), Ohio (Mid-American), Portland (West Coast), Texas State (Sun Belt), and Wright State (Horizon League) will also be competing in the sixth annual event.
