Fall Campaign Invites Visitors to “Stretch Your Summer”

Whether the summer flew by and consumers didn’t quite get to planning a vacation, or if they are treating themselves to an additional getaway “just because,” Myrtle Beach is the perfect place to plan to stretch their summer for 60 more days into the fall season. The 2019 fall campaign will allow the destination to showcase its shoulder season perks – summer-like temperatures, more elbow room and off-season rates – as well as highlight just how easy planning a second summer can be.

From a visual standpoint, Visit Myrtle Beach will leverage the concepts Stretch Your Summer and Second Summer for this campaign, emphasizing ways consumers extend summer into fall – stretching vacation dollars, second chances to getaway, and ways to treat themselves even if they only have 60 hours to spare.

Visit Myrtle Beach has also teamed up with several partners on special promotions that will extend our reach to new and non-traditional audiences, including Hootie & The Blowfish, Cocktail Artist and Dale Earnhardt Jr. with Goody’s.

While some promotions have already started, the bulk of the campaign will run in almost 60 markets from mid-August to mid-October. Check out some of the highlights below:
