"Collaborate2031" Countywide Strategy Initiative to Build a  Shared Roadmap for the Myrtle Beach Region’s Future

Partnership Grand Strand (PGS), the nonprofit foundation of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Visit Myrtle Beach, announces the launch of Collaborate2031, a comprehensive community strategy initiative designed to strengthen economic vitality, community pride and quality of life across Horry County and the Myrtle Beach region.

As part of the effort, members of the community will have multiple opportunities to provide input, including participation in listening sessions and an online survey available at Collaborate2031.com.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is encouraging the community to recognize the talented chefs and restaurateurs in the region by nominating them for the 2025 James Beard Awards.

The James Beard Foundation (JBF), renowned for honoring excellence in culinary arts, is accepting entries and recommendations through Nov. 29, 2024.

Myrtle Beach Classic to debut on PGA TOUR in 2024

A new PGA TOUR tournament, the Myrtle Beach Classic, sponsored by Visit Myrtle Beach will debut in 2024 along South Carolina’s Grand Strand. A four-year agreement establishing the event was announced today during a ceremony at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, with South Carolina Parks, Recreation and Tourism Director Duane Parrish in attendance along with representatives from the PGA TOUR, Visit Myrtle Beach, Golf Tourism Solutions, the City of Myrtle Beach and Horry County, South Carolina.
