National and regional media coverage in October continued to elevate Myrtle Beach and the surrounding Grand Strand as a dynamic, story-rich destination. National accolades highlighted the region’s diverse appeal and family friendliness with stories in The Independent, Fodor’s Travel, Forbes, and more. 

Seasonal coverage flourished as Conway gained widespread attention for its festive fall transformation into the “City of Halloween.” Halloween coverage came from top national outlets such as Southern Living, Travel + Leisure, and Reader’s Digest. Travel accessibility also remained a key narrative as national outlets reported on expanded flight options into the destination, while Myrtle Beach International Airport earned recognition as one of the top airports in the country in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. 

Entertainment continued to draw headlines, with Riley Green and Cole Swindell announced as the performers for the Carolina Country Music Fest. Finally, the region’s golf offerings received praise as well, with Golf Digest and Golfweek honoring Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club among the best U.S. golf resorts for 2025.
