Visit Myrtle Beach partnered with Hasbro to bring the spirit of the beach directly into everyday shopping experiences through a dual-brand promotion featuring Play-Doh and Hasbro Games. Designed to inspire families and spark travel consideration, the campaign blended creativity, play, and vacation dreaming—meeting consumers where they already are and inviting them to imagine their next getaway.

At its core, the partnership was built to achieve three key objectives: expand family audience reach, drive awareness and consideration for Myrtle Beach as a top vacation destination, and extend the brand beyond traditional marketing channels into high-traffic retail environments.

Two Creative Concepts, One Destination

The campaign came to life through two distinct but complementary creative directions.

With Play-Doh, the concept “Ready, Imagine, Cook… at the Beach” encouraged families to tap into creativity and hands-on fun—mirroring the playful, build-your-own experiences that Myrtle Beach offers.

At the same time, Hasbro Games introduced “Beach Mode: Game On”, positioning the destination as the ultimate setting for family connection, friendly competition, and shared moments.

The breadth of locations (300+ stores) provided extensive reach, allowing the destination to connect with consumers during everyday shopping trips.
