Myrtle Beach PR Tourism Highlights for June 2026

Positive national coverage continued to reinforce Myrtle Beach’s reputation as an affordable, family-friendly coastal destination, with strong visibility across travel, golf, entertainment and group tourism media. Travel + Leisure highlighted Myrtle Beach among golf experts’ favorite destinations and featured the destination in its roundup of the 10 Most Affordable Places to Travel in the U.S. This August (including Make More Myrtle Moments!), while Condé Nast Traveler named Myrtle Beach one of the East Coast’s best beaches and The Points Guy recognized it as a top summer family road trip destination.

Lonely Planet included Myrtle Beach among South Carolina’s best beaches, while WorldAtlas named it among the best Southern towns for retirees and additional WorldAtlas coverage highlighted Conway and Murrells Inlet as top places to relocate.
